Any recommendations on a chain saw? Looking for a cordless, 14β is big enough. Skil and Kobalt look good.
EGO came from nowhere as a founder of the battery yard tools. Ican testify that my experience is that the quality is high.
One of the truly great events in my life is not having to deal with #$%^*# two cycle gasoline engines any more
They all use the same 56 volt batteries and I have two.
I bought the ego chainsaw on line via Amazon but can look at them at Lowes

I also love my EGO Chainsaw. Recommend getting the “Rapid Charger” that recharges the battery in half an hour.
I went with the 36 volt, 16" Makita cordless chainsaw. I was already heavily invested in Makita tools, so it made good sense to stick with it. Probably cost a little more than some other brands, but the batteries are interchangeable among all of the different tools, and I have enough of them that there are always at least half a dozen that are fully charged sitting on the shelf in my workshop.
I can't find a single bad thing to say about it.
