It was a combination of some solution they put in a drip bottle. They never told me what it was. I didn’t even know what sepsis was. It was a clear liquid. All I remember is the nurse running down the hallway into the room with the drip bottle and hooking it up. She kept saying over and over. “We found it!” It was a match …..and within 20 hours he was almost normal.
