Soooo... easy to housebreak one of those puppies? Or do they leave oil stains on the carpet?

6,5 Creedmore is the “it” cartridgde right now. Everything is chambered for it. You would think the .260 would have caught on, but noooo.
Well, better late than never I guess.

Funny - the hot new "it" cartridge is basically the .250 Savage Ackley Improved wildcat (which has been around since FDR was president), necked up a whopping 0.007 inches. So, your "better late than never" comment is exactly right...

;^)

“How the heck did you deal with the overpressure??? Is rebarreling all that was needed?”

The Remington 700 action handles the pressure fine. I got a threaded and short chambered barrel from Brownells. So I needed a “Go Guage” and a finish chamber reamer, to complete the chambering. As well as a barrel vice and action wrench.

as the American Left fights a losing battle against God.
***That’s actually what the battle of Armageddon is all about — all the forces in the world lined up fighting against God.

A CROWS wouldn’t fit on the dog but if some soldiers drove a few of those to mountain tops, dropped them off, and had the dog around to operate it, such a thing would be a formidable standoff weapon.

All those technical considerations for rifling and twist ratio are swept away once smooth bore .50 caliber is used in the field with EXACTO rounds, beginners can score hits on moving targets at 2 miles.

Snow Crash is a great book. Bradbury had the ‘mechanical hound’ in Fahrenheit 451 68 years ago. It had 8 legs, if I recall.

I actually posted that a standard CROWS or even its big optics component would dwarf that dog. Maybe pull it on a sled, LOL.

The CROWS would not be delivered nor carried by the dog, just operated by the dog.

When Churchill talked about a new Dark Age made more sinister, and perhaps more protracted, by the lights of perverted science, he was on to something.
