My FIL in the UK died from it due to bladder cancer. They sent him home to die, basically.
Mom had Sepsis and COVID at the end of 2019 when they didn’t know what the hell was going on. Survived.
My dad had “beaten” throat cancer, but the treatment pretty much killed him, which is why he was a sitting duck for sepsis.
