The Tolkien Estate has a lot of power over the content and would not support full wokeness. Different races and some powerful females, sure, because that isn’t inconsistent with the Second Age. Homosexuality and transgender crap, no way. Unless it was shown as a negative, and a sign of decadence among the Numenoreans. I suppose that could make sense, but they’d never go in that direction either.
The “Lord of the Rings” himself is Sauron, and he’s the pivotal
figure in these Second Age stories. So you could still plausible call it a “Lord of the Rings” set of stories.

I agree. I think these people are trying to make a few strong female leads into some woke crap. Won’t fly.
