Kongsberg is a pretty isolated place, former silver mines up in the mountains with a little lake. Picturesque. Town has some industry and skiing and not much else going on at least from what I could tell on my visits there. Crazy.
Kongsberg is where the “Kongsberg Colt” was made.
Officially M1914, it was a copy of the 1911 made under license from colt.
The ones made under Nazi occupation have become collectors items.
