That's the thing people don't realize. Police "brutality" isn't up. It's actually down. It's just that we are seeing more of it due to police bodycams and CCTV and cellphones

I assumed that. Being accountable is one thing but being hindered by a lying mob is quite another.

Nobody hates bad cops more than good cops. I know many people roll their eyes at that, but it’s true. I’m sorry to say that I will not miss policing once I am done with it. For the first time in my career I hesitate to tell people what I do. I cannot imagine being on the streets these days. Every move you make is scrutinized and recorded (in the big cities).
