Nobody hates bad cops more than good cops. I know many people roll their eyes at that, but it’s true. I’m sorry to say that I will not miss policing once I am done with it. For the first time in my career I hesitate to tell people what I do. I cannot imagine being on the streets these days. Every move you make is scrutinized and recorded (in the big cities).

We have a cop in our extended family. He hates dealing with bratty kids. We're in a rural area but it seems some of the kids take on a "city kid" persona. The family cop is 6' 4" and a 4th grader told him "Eff you".
I can't imagine being an officer now and I'm surprised more don't quit.
