New Shepard’s 18th mission, NS-18, will lift off on Wednesday, October 13, carrying four astronauts, Dr. Chris Boshuizen, Glen de Vries, Audrey Powers, and William Shatner, to space and back.
So what, he made it and did something few have ever done. Just how many have done this, a couple of hundred at best. I would go in a heart beat knowing all the risks and there are plenty of risks. That rocket could have blown up, any number of things could have happened. We have a remarkable safety record, Challenger disaster included. I salute those people who went up, amazing.
a little chancy for Kirks fellow astronauts
HERE ==> Shatner's description of his flight. Not live, of course. This is what Shatner had to say after Bezos opened the hatch.
And WHAT a NON event it was.
