Together, they were an amazing team. I think they kept each other from recording lousy material.

IMHO, neither produced good stuff after the Beatles.

Does neither refer to McCartney and Lennon? Cuz if it does, you’re forgetting that Harrison played with The Traveling Wilburys, who I think did a great job.

LOL. I agree. When they split, each of their worst tendencies began to dominate, although back in the day I preferred Lennon's worst tendencies to McCartney's. Well, maybe not, but Lennon's post-Beatles career was short-lived.
