Here’s a couple examples. Sometimes when carrying under a coat or jacket the gun will inadvertently be flashed. Another is when carrying in a pocket the gun will print. In other words an outline of the gun can be perceived.
I’ve noticed that unless the gun is very poorly concealed (or if you look or act suspicious), very, very few people in public are (1) observant enough to notice the occasionally-flashed or -printed handgun; (2) inclined to care about it; and (3) bold enough to say or do something about it.
That said, I generally don’t recommend ignoring 30.06 signs.
