Nearly impossible. Even if you had decent data, which we don’t in this nation, you have to account for previously infected vs vaxed vs neither vs both, different rates of immune decline for each situation different lengths of time between infection/vaccination and collection of the data, different vaccinated/unvaccinated populations, etc.

It is apparent to me that the CDC doesn’t really want to know.

Are you seriously comparing the breakthrough deaths with the deaths during entire pandemic?

The vaccine was not available to the general public until April, after the two biggest waves had passed.

Overall death to case ratio for MA is 18358 deaths/768,466 cases = 2.4%

This week’s breakthrough death to case ratio is 46 deaths/4000 cases = 1.15%,

The total breakthrough deaths/casesis 300/40,464 or .74%. That is not a good trend for the vaxxed.

The same trend happened in GA and the vaxxed death rate passed the unvaxxed death rate last week.

I just did this very thing in post 62, granted all I have to work with is total deaths/cases, because you cannot separate out data starting in April.
