The leftist city’s experiment with trimming back law enforcement is about to go into overdrive.
Seattle, more than many American cities, vigorously embraced the “Defund the Police” movement. Last year, the Seattle City Council began the process of defunding the police and it’s been continuing ever since, relentlessly slicing away at the city’s police budget. Crime has risen accordingly and people are making noises about getting the police back. However, the radicals have a new arrow in their quiver to reduce the number of police in their city. An October 18 deadline is looming to fire those police who have refused the vaccination and, with only a week to go, roughly 40% of the police force is still unvaccinated.
Since George Floyd’s diseased heart gave out thanks to overdosing on meds and fighting the police, Seattle has been one of those cities that has most enthusiastically sought to rid itself of its police force. Even the fact that the little autonomous zone known as CHAZ instantly turned into warlord hell didn’t deter the council from its mission.
In August 2020, the City Council cut the police force budget by $3.5 million and, instead, put the money into “community public safety programs.” That was by a 7-1 vote. The only person holding out wasn’t doing so because it’s crazy to leave a big city without a police force. Instead, Kshama Sawant felt that the budget cut wasn’t big enough. It was certainly big enough for Police Chief Carmen Best, who promptly resigned. Ironically, this was just months after Sawant and Teresa Mosqueda, another council member, had insisted that the police do their job after a shooting in CHAZ.

The Brahmans (priestly class in Hindu) created the caste system, which is a form of racism that is the most systemic in all the world currently. It makes Apartheid look like a sorority.
The Brahmanists are joined at the hip with the socialists and communists.
Why?
Because Brahmanism is just another form of Statism that grants unlimited power and wealth to the Ruling Elite.
They have the same goals as the Statists all over the world: tyranny.
They join the Statists because they calculate — like all tribal-minded groups calculate — that if they put the system of Statism in place, all they need to do is take over control of that system and their tribe will rule over all other tribes.
Brahmanism is as much a threat to American and Western values and traditions and freedoms as Islamofascism.
I understand your reasoning, but you must keep in mind the tactic of these communists.
They create chaos, confusion and violence.
And then they demand that they be empowered to fill that vacuum.
After those cities devolve into utter bedlam, the Statists will likely use military and a ‘special police force’ (federal) to ‘normalize’ (Yuri Bezmenov’s term) these cities.
While it appears to be stupidity guiding the ‘leaders’ in these cities, it isn’t. It’s part of their Orwellian plan to turn the areas of highest population in each state into a Police State. That Police State will eventually expand their power beyond the city limits to the suburbs and voila, most states are under iron-fisted Statist rule.

It takes 1.5 hours on a good day to drive from Grays Harbor County to Olympia and then another 2 hour + drive from there to Seattle.

...should have your head examined. Lots of people choose to ignore politics, but they do at their own peril (example, parents FINALLY learning who really controls the schools), and so people who make a living ‘in the city’, ANY city in the US, are at the mercy of Soros, who is out to destroy them. This isn’t new...the writing has been on the wall for over 5 years...yet people persist in trying to survive in ever-worsening conditions.
Bottom line - just get the (expletive) out of there. Or else.
