PRAGUE (Reuters) - Czech voters evicted the communists from parliament on Saturday for the first time since the end of World War Two, voting out a party whose forebears ruled the central European nation from 1948 until the Velvet Revolution of 1989 that ushered in democracy.

People in this country won’t elect Communists under that name. They have to call it “Progressivism” or some other euphemistic label.

Old School Communism of the type that thrived in Russia, Cuba, China, and other places will not catch on here because the Left in this country lack the one thing that made it successful in other places. That is a sense of patriotism. That’s how earlier Communist appealed to young people because it struck a note with their idealism. Americas leftists, however, hate America and are teaching our children to hate America so, really, their movement has no attraction other than the appeal for free stuff, misplaced compassion, and forced social pressure through the media and schools. Thus, they get voted in through fear and indulgence and once in proceed with their defacto Communist agenda
