I am seeing this afternoon that some impressive number of my Nurse friends have decided to opt out of the ‘stick.’ They are retiring or just flat out quitting. I am sensing that they are beginning to work with ‘skeleton crews there at the old lovable place.’ That is so difficult a challenge for them to contend with. I feel guilty.

I cannot yet know even the precise number. I won't call or text these people who I am friends with, but it looks ugly. So, I am not going to inquire just yet, but clearly it is significant. I will get details in the near future

Those who are leaving seem very unhappy about it. The deadline for the vac is this Friday. Get it or you are out. I was asked to come back to work a couple of weeks ago, and I want to, but I am not taking that poke. I am not even afraid of dying, it is a matter of principle.

Anyhow, Nurses like cake. Somewhere in the Greater Boston are, they are likely running out of ‘cake supplies.’ These Nurses love to make their own stuff. There is heart in it, and that means something. When Comcast took my image hosting away, I have not posted a pic out here on Free Republic since. That was several years ago.

I may set up a new site again, and obtain some new Apps for posting images, but for the time being I will remain a non image Poster out here. so no cake for you. I am quite displeased about so many people there leaving, but hey, I did it first, for mostly different reasons. Oh well. Sorry, if my comment here comes off as a bit disjointed, but I feel quite sad about these events.
