Doctors are getting angry at their patients
American Thinker ^ | 7 Oct, 2021 | Pandra Selivanov

Apparently, it’s just too much to be asked to treat COVID before people get desperately ill.

One of the more bizarre twists in the saga of the COVID pandemic has been doctors growing increasingly frustrated and even angry with patients asking for medical treatment rather than wholesale vaccination. We have been told for almost two years that COVID is a deadly disease. Naturally, when people test positive for COVID, they want to be treated to avoid serious illness. Instead, they are sent home to quarantine, with no medical treatment until they become seriously ill.

Some patients take exception to this approach and ask for ivermectin, which is being used outside of the United States to treat early COVID. There is a significantly lower incidence of serious cases of COVID in countries that use ivermectin for early exposures.

Doctors are not taking kindly to the suggestion that patients should have access to medication that can prevent serious illness. They are denouncing ivermectin as a veterinary drug as if they were not aware that it was developed for human use, that the FDA approved it for human use back in the 1990s, and that almost 4 billion doses have been administered around the world in the past 30 years. It’s true ivermectin was developed to treat parasites, not viruses, and that it is used for livestock as well as humans. However, there are a number of life-saving medications that are not being used for their original purpose.

“There has been something on the order of a billion doses given worldwide.”

That’s real cute, except that it means NOTHING unless and until industry standard protocol for YEARS (5-18) of clinical trials have been concluded. Oh, and that includes control groups, double-blind testing, etc., all of which have been thrown out the window in the new worship of Fauci and the monster he created.

Thalidomide, honey.

People who are admittted to the profession of doctoring are filtered, with “control freak” being one of the criteria for admission.

Same for the profession of law - which is where politicians and administrators generally come from.

Very much a “look down their nose” class. Very invested in the rickety systems they operate within.

I just turned 67, but I’ve been on a weight loss vendetta this past year. Lost about 40 lbs and exited obese category into overweight. I walk about 2 hrs a day and take lots of supplements. I work in restaurant on weekends and have been exposed lots of times but finally tested positive. I’m kinda glad to have it and get it over with...lol...just hope no one got it from me.

That’s great! You are an awesome example of how we should treat this.

Now, if our government and media would have pushed healthy life changes like that, instead of fear, this world would be a better place.

Oh please. This foolishness of waiting to approve a vaccine for years is simply nonsense. Older vaccines took years simply because development used to rely on trial and error. You are advocating for years of testing while millions die.

I’ve noticed some parallels between Covid and H1N1 in govt and medical reactions. I followed H1N1 back then and they had lockdown plans ready to go but it never got as bad as predicted. I also remember that they made it a lot harder to get Tamiflu - making it prescription instead of OTC, but you it was hard to find a doctor to rx it for you to have on hand “just in case”. Even when one of my boys was sick, they wouldn’t prescribe it. We ended up getting star anise and I made a tea of it for them.

Now, it’s HCQ, IVM, NAC that is being attacked. I have to wonder if Zantac had some efficacy (we’ve seen some suggest Pepcid AC) even though it was pulled for a “cancer risk”. Other meds have been harder to get as well. It’s very fishy to me, especially when they are blocking access to meds that really are safe and effective.

But then again, look at this (follow the money):

It’s approaching two years since the start of clinical trials.

The thalidomide comparison is fear porn for the uninformed. Nothing more.

The goal is to frighten people into taking the mRNA jab. Treating the infection early defeats this plan.

I don't think it's an either/or thing. I am vaxxed, but I keep HCQ and Ivermectin handy in case I get a breakthrough infection. People should be allowed to make their own medical decisions.

My last visit to one of my doctors, this happened to me. I questioned mask efficacy and mentioned early treatment, and she was quite peeved. She told me doctors who gave out “misinformation” or prescribed forbidden drugs were subject to losing their licenses. She was angry — at me.

Similiar thing happened to me in my ER visit.

Express any medical knowledge and

they act like you stole their favorite voodoo witch doctor talisman rattle they use to ward off evil spirits.

Sorry doc, your PhD doesn’t negate my self informed consent and choice of treatment. You are not omniceint gods.

They get really bent if you ask if the vac works better than blood letting and leaches or cigarettes.

This happened to us with a doc that my FIL used to see. He acted like we were idiots for making a suggestion.

We mentioned the same thing to his current doc, he thought it was interesting, ran some tests and it confirmed what we thought.

Doctors have been slow walking treatments.

Do not leave the office if you get a positive test without a physical script for monocolonal antibodies and don’t leave it up to your doctor or your insurance company or provider to drive your appointment.

Many are flat out lying and claiming they are waits because doctor will flag you as not sick enough. Take the script and call around and make your own appt. Don’t let them lie to you about the waits until after 10 days have passed

It is no longer a profession. The Practice of Medicine is now a subsidiarity of the Insurance Companies. The Doctors now work for the insurance companies and hospitals.

That’s OK. Patients are getting pretty mad at their doctors as well. The loathing is mutual.

How does a doctor make more money not treating a sick patient but instead encouraging them to get a free vaccine at a clinic or pharmacy?

They make more money by NOT losing their job for breaking protocol. Prescribing ivermectin or Hydroxychloroquine will cost them their job, and possibly their license.

Pushhealth.com worked for me just last week. My local pharmacy is well up to speed charging just over $3 a 6mg pill. They got me in touch with a Dr in my state and the Rx was written within 48 hrs. No ID check, no virtual appt, no voice comms at all with the Dr. 6 total text messages and 5 minutes on the internet and I am covered with IVM in case I get sick.
