As I recollect it, Trump seemed to have every EO immediately challenged and action on it suspended by the court. What sticks out is the EO not accepting immigration from rogue countries (the purported muslim ban) and the rescinding of DACA.
I know of the vax case that argues equal protection, as illegals are not required to be vaxxed, but no request to suspend the EO in the meantime was put forth with that.
So is the "judicial review" that Trump was subjected to no longer in vogue?
This thinking only works if there is one (or two) political parties that oppose what the President is trying to do. President Trump was opposed. President Biden is not.
Donald Trump = transplant rejection.
All of the swamp’s immune systems were turned on and reacted in perfect harmony.
Trump was the disease, Biden is the cure. Simple as that.
Does the vax mandate EO exist? I’ve seen the federal employee and contractor EOs, but does one exist for the employers with 100+ employees?
“EO exist”
Only for Feds and contractors. The 100+ thing is going to go through OSHA in emergency fashion - meaning public comment will not be allowed.
There seems to be confusion regarding the proposed OSHA emergency rule. The White House just last week was asked ‘what was happening with the rule’ and the reply indicated nothing much.
Now that could just be a smoke-screen as the proposed OSHA regulation would get expedited and probably skip the usual public commentary period, meaning it could be slapped on literally overnight. But some analysts are suggesting that the whole idea was just to lend cover to the big corporations and healthcare agencies that wanted to move toward mandatory vaccination of their workforces. IF that turns out to be true then the OSHA rule may not happen at all.
The cure is worse than the disease.
