Are you aware that the abuse among non-Catholic ministers is higher than that of priests?
Is this another Catholic-bashing thread?

I’m sure all denominations have a history. But your claim is:
“that the abuse among non-Catholic ministers is higher than that of priests?”
So I guess you can name another denomination that has a “higher rate” of abuse?
And since you made the claim, I’ll be expecting sources. Thanks

(I guess since you haven’t responded yet, you must either be conceding, and thereby retracting your false statements, or your doing a deep dive. Take your time, I’m patient.)
1 Timothy 4:2-4
King James Version
2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
Yet, but another example why Sola Scriptura is so vitally important.
If the catholic church had not gone against the Word of God AS WRITTEN, and had not forbiden your priests to marry, perhaps it would not have enticed so many who ended up using their MAN given authority to abuse their victims.
Revelation 18:3-5
King James Version
3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.
