ESPN personality Sage Steele created a controversy with comments about former President Barack Obama identifying as “Black” on the recent census.
Steele, appearing on the “Uncut with Jay Cutler” podcast, discussed racial identity and expressed an issue with having to identify as a single race, because she self-identifies as biracial.
“If they make you choose a race, what are you gonna put? Well, both,” said Steele, who’s African-American and Irish/Italian.

LOL. She nailed it. Good for her.
She dared to denigrate the Magic Negro. Off with her head.
His claimed Kenyan father is what makes him not a natural born citizen.
Now if Frank Marshall Davis was his real daddy.......
Those ‘Black Irish’ are ALWAYS good looking! ;)
Not upset here. Lol
I can’t see your picture but i think she’s gorgeous. Similar to Stacey Dash, another black conservative who i think is gorgeous...meanwhile the other side has stacey abrams, joy reid, whoopi goldberg...
I can’t remember now but I put something like “human” or “unknown” on the last census I filled out.
Sorry you can’t see the pic. Yes, she’s a lovely lady.
I also looked at her “images” under her name...Very pretty lady...Sweet smile...
Why not African-American and Irish-American/Italian-American?
Asking for a friend...

I always told my kids to never let people make you choose. They (and myself) would be furious if someone tried to deny their white mother.
Ahem, you forgot Italian.
Libtards figured out long ago they can get a lot more mileage and privilege from claiming just to be black while ignoring anything else.
Just look at bubba Wallace. 🤪
And Tiger Woods.
I appreciate someone at a brainwashing mechanism such as ESPN to have an independent spine and mind.
I don’t know that I would put Tiger Woods in the white denial category. If I remember correctly he used to refer to his mother quite often and always in a positive manner.
I got into this a number of years ago with the census. They asked on the form what my race was and gave me some examples. I don’t know my race as my father was adopted with no record of who his parents were. Factually no record at all in the 1020’s. So I marked other and left the requested line blank in my identification of myself. I had two phone calls and two visitors to my home to clarify my entry. I don’t care what they put, but it isn’t known and I expected them to lie on it anyway. I hope I brightened their day by making them think a little. A little electricity moving around might help them.
