Pro-Trump attorney Lin Wood continues to promote conspiracy theories and misinformation at conservative events around the country, claiming at a Friday rally that no planes hit the Twin Towers or the Pentagon on September 11, 2001.

Trump never hired Lin wood. Wood was working for himself.
Late November and early December when he repeatedly did not deliver on his word and made unverifiable claims. There are dozens and dozens of threads.
Why is everyone assuming the Newsweek title is accurate?

The fuel fires on 9/11 didn’t either. It softened the metal reducing its load bearing capacity.
My best guess is that Wood is working for the left.
Propane has 84250 btu/gallon.
Jet A has 135000 btu/gallon.
If anyone can make/buy a forge fired by propane (look it up, let alone by wood at 8600 btu/pound, a fraction of Avgas), steel can certainly be melted in forge-like conditions further fueled by contents within the confines of the concrete floors of the WTC.
To deny this is no different than asserting that Wood is right.

I figured it was a misleading headline, but they do include direct quotes. Somewhere along the way, he lost his bearings.

Well, I wonder what happened then to the two women I knew — one on each plane that crashed into the twin towers. One of them was traveling with her four-year old daughter. All three died (obviously).
And I was watching it on TV when it happened.
They dont need to melt it, just soften it.

The 9/11 Truthers have mislead you. Conspiracy theorists cherry pick some isolated facts while distracting you from the big picture. Fuel fires lasting for hours will weaken steel, and then the structure sags and joints break and once floors start to pancake, the force of that collapses the building. This also answers the other favorite conspiracy talking point, that a jet cannot “knock down” a sky scraper. The impact and fire weakened the buildings, and that was enough. It was not like those old Godzilla movies where a guy in a costume pushes over model buildings.
Why did they bother with the airplane crash in Pennsylvania? Wasn’t that one headed for the U.S. Capital or the White House? Why didn’t they follow through on that, rather than having the plane crash somewhere else after the passengers took over?
Like they Apollo astronauts said about the “never went to the moon” kooks - if we faked it, why did we fake it nine times?
That’s a great movie, highly recommended. But it’s really more about the other local attorney involved in that case. I don’t think Lin appears.
He’s in need of psychiatric care. I hope he gets it. I never liked him, him but at this point it’s clear he needs help.
The people who believe this kind of crap reveal more about themselves than about the truth.
Exactly. A former colleague of mine, whose vehicle was in the Pentagon parking lot on 9/11, ended up with a piece of AA Flight 77 embedded in her vehicle's roof. The son of my next-door neighbors, stuck in rush hour traffic on I-395 that morning, saw the plane with his own eyes. I could go on and on.
People who peddle these foul lies should be ignored as the nutjobs they are.
