thats not enough

get the extended tubes

further consider smaller tactical close quarter shells so you can really hold more shells

you dont need 3” shells if you’re close quarter

they have like 1.5” shells (or about that length, been awhile since i looked at them) and they will be plenty damaging but you can almost double your rounds

you might need to get a different spring and loading/feeding shell holder and modify the shotgun to work with the smaller shells reliably, it depends how short they are and if they will feed properly

i think if they are 2” or longer no mods are probably needed but if they are the 1.5” you might need to

2” sounds like a good compromise.

But if 6 shots or so doesn’t do the trick, then out comes the primary handgun (.357 semi), and wifey can grab the 38 Special revolver — if I remembered to take out the snake shot from that one, anyway... /s
Or she can reload the shotgun...

Really, while stopping power is a big consideration, I’d think most intruders faced with maybe 3 very loud, quick blasts, are gonna reconsider what they’re up against if they’re not already down.

If you go for the Aguila Mini shell option, then you’ll need the Opsol attachment to help load shells reliably.

A guy i know has it on his mossberg and it works well- feeding mini shells reliably.
