Yes, on the temperature scale, but –10°C equals 14°F.

And given that a degree Celsius is 1.8 times larger than a degree Fahrenheit, a drop of 10 degrees centigrade would be a drop of 18 degrees Fahrenheit.

10 Centigrade degrees = 18 Fahrenheit degrees.

Note that is NOT the same as 10 degrees Centigrade or 18 degrees Fahrenheit.

F = 1.8 C + 32
