Britain is bracing itself for snow and floods, with temperatures plummeting by 10°C as wintry conditions start to take hold.
Meteorologists believe snow could fall in parts of the UK in the coming weeks, with more rain and wind on the way first.
A cold front will strike, bringing floods and stormy weather, with heavy downpours expected.
The Met Office’s Dan Stroud told the Express: “During the course of Saturday afternoon, cloud increasing from the SW with a spell of persistent and at times heavy rain likely to move northeast across the UK. Winds strengthening in the south and east late Saturday afternoon and evening with coastal gales, gusting to 60-70 mph along the south coast in places. The area of organized cloud and rain, locally heavy, is expected to clear north and east on Sunday but may persist across the far northeast of Scotland for much of the day where it will remain windy for much of the day, again with coastal gales.”
He added that most of the UK will experience a mixture of sunshine and showers with a risk of thunder after the wet spell. …

Britain produces 44% of it’s own gas needs.
Norway is Britain’s largest foreign supplier.
USA is a close second.
Russia is a distant third.
A host of other countries send a little. Britain should be fine unless Russia really goes off the rails.
It’s why they had to change it to “climate change”. Next ice age and global warming were making them look bad.

Bunch of wankers. 12,000 years ago, The UK was under a sheet of ice a mile thick. And you didn’t hear a peep of whining about some imminent cold spell and a little rain. I guess Limeys were just made of tougher stuff back then.
