Thank you for the ping. With the summer July thru Sept.) being the most rainy and overcast I can recall, growth and harvest was late, but I picked over 200 cherry tomatoes this week, more than just about any week previous. Thank God for the late harvest! While the tomato plants are petering out as usual and temps now can get down to the 40's at night, yet the butternut squash which has taken over the garden (though only about 8 plants were put in) continue to grow, praise God. Hoping for a full month of harvest before the first frost.
I put about 10 cherry toms in 5oz cups (about 3 cents a piece from Walmart) for distribution. Thank God.
Love your pictures! It is a beautiful garden. Looks like bno room for any weeds.
Your veggies are playing catch-up! When will your first freeze be? Mine usually hits about October 15th, but we’re very warm this fall, so hopping it will be delayed. It has snowed on October 31st two years that I can remember, in the past.
Those memories always motivate me to really clean out the garden before October 15th. (Zone 4/5)
Wow, everything looks great!
Wow! You have an amazing garden.
