I’m so burnt out on LZ I turn them off every time they’re on the radio. I don’t really like anything about the album Physical Graffiti.
Not a fan of Foreigner either. I don’t like the lead singer.
I’m burnt out on classic rock, in general. Lately I’ve been listening to 50’s and 60’s music and flipping around channels on Sirius.
Just another unwelcome symptom of getting older. It has become hard to avoid getting bored. My problem. I hope everyone else is faring better.
“I’m burnt out on classic rock”
Thank your lucky stars you’re from a generation that could become bored with classical rock. Could you imagine looking back at the hey days of rap? That could make you suicidal.
Harry Belafonte - My Baby's Not Around ("Odds Against Tomorrow" Scene)
The Johnny's - Greenback Dollar
Jackson Browne & Bonnie Raitt - Kisses Sweeter Than Wine
I understand. Way too much classic rock is overplayed.
Check out Leonid and Friends on youtube. The best cover band ever playing Chicago, Ides of March, Blood Sweat and Tears and even Steely Dan.
From air play, you would think these bands only recorded 2-3 songs.
My pref is to listen to the deep cuts off the old albums and stay away from the hits.
Getting older is a pain. Sure. Who would have thought, seriously, the 70’s/80’s could look so good? Until you look at the world today. Wouldn’t want to trade places with the kids now days and do my growing up all over again.
Hang in there...
