Ah....but the good guy sacrifices himself so the other guy and gal can be together in the end and because he knew he had done some bad things as I recall.

So it’s bittersweet but showed that men can sacrifice for the overall good and regain some level of honor.

At least that is how I remember it from .....wow was the last time I read that really 25 years ago.....time to break out the leather
