For paste just select your weight and just push out that amount of paste. The paste dispenser I have used are marked in 50 pound notches. I weight 187 but just go with 200 pounds to make it easier.
Lately I've been getting off brand IVM paste when ordering from Amazon. I usually get Durvet Paste 1.87% with Anthelmintic & Boticide but recently getting Bimectin and Promectin. These have the same specs as Durvet but I'm leery of using them.

One thing I noticed is that each company gives their Ivermectin a different name.
