Dog the Bounty Hunter, who is on the hunt for fugitive Brian Laundrie, has reportedly come across a fresh campsite at a Florida park where he and his team found a can of Monster Energy Ultra Gold.
The can showed no signs of rust or faded colors, but the reality TV star — whose real name is Duane Chapman — found no firm evidence the late Gabby Petito’s boyfriend was still on Egmont Key in the woods of Shell Island near Fort De Soto Park, Fox News reported.
“We’re here at the island. This would be and could be the perfect spot for him to hide. Not too many people out here but there’s a lot of environmental things that we’re going to fight,” Chapman said on Twitter Wednesday.
“So here we go. The search now is really on. The search has just begun,” the 68-year-old added.
A source close to Chapman told The Post this week that the celebrity manhunter was on Florida’s Marco Island and setting up a home base in the Sunshine State from which to launch his search for Laundrie.
On Wednesday, he was at Fort De Soto Park — some 75 miles from Laundrie’s home — where Laundrie and his parents camped out on Sept. 6, five days after he returned alone from the couple’s cross-country trip in her van.

What a dumbass. Collecting and handling potential evidence without gloves. Way to go, dumbsh!t dawg. You just contaminated your potential evidence and probably destroyed fingerprint and DNA evidence.

Exactly, the parents sent 2 miles of blue into a local swamp on a snipe hunt; meanwhile someone uses Dog's rat line to bust Laundrie's parents, and Dog's in Fort DeSoto Park the same day.
Now we read that Ms. Laundrie changed the park reservations from 2 to 3 people and kicked it back a weekend in the time frame of Brain fleeing the scene of the Wyoming crime.
I am soooo rooting for Dog to find him before the disgraceful FBI.

The problem with the Appalachian Trail is that it’s a two-way trail. Folks hiking N-S & S-N. He couldn’t “exit” the trail quickly enough, in some cases, to keep from being spotted by other hikers. You know how it is on a trail...someone’s overtaking you, or you’re overtaking someone. He could parallel the trail, but it would require some extreme bushwhacking.

Because even Geraldo knows a good story telling is just as important as an empty safe. Intentions matters, not results . We care about problems, we don’t solve them.
Having said that, at least Dog isn’t wearing a mask while working.

Not if you’re measuring back to the Sept 7/8 De Soto exit.
BL was sighted by a neighbor on sept 11 and in ATT store on sept 14, so the parking lot at Carlton Reserve is looking more and more like his launch point for escape...When do you think he ran for the hills?
