President Reagan didn’t die from that shooting a d went on to finish his first term and win and serve his second term and retire to California with his wife.
This is still an outrage. He will enjoy perhaps 50 years of additional life while Sarah suffered horrible torment and death at his hands. At least make him suffer all his years by cutting out his tongue and castrating him first.

Hinckley has been out for a while already.
What is happening is that they are fully releasing him from restrictions.
Chapman was sentenced 20 years to life. Has been denied parole many times. He also contemplated killing Reagan.
Ahh insanity at its finest.
Legally, Jim Brady was listed as a homicide victim by his coroner since the brain injury from the shooting led to his eventual death.

I’m relieved he got the maximum punishment though.
Judges these days are too lenient and I feared he would have got a lighter sentence.
Fact is a lot of people were demanding the whole life term so he probably felt some pressure...

The intent was to kill Reagan. For a bizarre reason. But to kill him. Hinckley could possibly go after someone again. Maybe even someone you know and care about.
Whole-life is a rip off. Term life is almost always a better deal.
