Phase I clinical trials are slated to begin in Taiwan in January of next year, and it is estimated that it will take at least seven years for the drug to complete clinical trials and reach the market.

I wish them luck. Unfortunately, so many times you hear things like this announced and nothing ever comes of it.

A pill will be developed and promptly sold to a large pharma firm where the pills cost will be 10,000 times the cost of manufacture. Any questions?

IF it is ever developed it will be sold and marketed at the cost of unobtainium.

This is the last we will ever hear of this since the researchers will be lured to some other higher paying “opportunity” and along with their work never heard from again.

There is just too much money to be made in treating the symptoms of diabetes for there to ever be a cure. Same for so many other things.
