Yes! Bill Kirchen was the guitar player for Commander Cody, and in the ‘90s he used to play every Thursday night at a hole-in-the-wall motorcycle bar in Northern Virginia, The Sunset Grill. I saw him there every week for years. He played an extended version of Hot Rod Lincoln that went on for ten minutes. See below. I saw him and Commander Cody just before the lockdown in 2019 at the Birchmere — a great show!
