First off, you need a leader or group of leaders who are already well-known to not be agent provacateurs. Why are Trump rallies still so popular? Because we are comfortable knowing that President Trump isn't some deep-state agent.

Rallies or movements organized by someone nobody knows won't cut it.

His argument is shaky. He believes the Bundy Ranch stand-off was successful because it was spontaneous, decentralized, and limited to specific goals.

The Deep State is centralized, persistent, and acting to implement a sea of nefarious goals. The American Revolution may have initially been conducted by small disjointed groups of rebels, but only succeeded because all those forces were joined into a well-run army.

The most success conservatives have had has been thru large nationwide orgs that focused on getting the right people in office passing good legislation. We won a lot of battles that way. We have lost the war so far, but random groups of "patriots" going toe-to-toe with the Feds over local issues is not a winning strategy.
