I would say there is a 99% chance that this was a murder/delayed suicide. He went into the Florida swamp, killed himself, and is now gator food.
I read he left his wallet and cell phone at the house so I have to agree that he probably self-destructed.
Where ever he is bounty hunters, good ones, don’t let go. until they find who they’re looking for. Plus they aren’t obvious like the police.
Brian is a sociopath without conscience. He probably has one or more parents who are in the sociopath category as well. Law enforcement detectives at some level are taught how to interpret the signs sociopaths cannot help but give off. I imagine Dog is good at reading the same signs.
