May as well make sure that you are topped up with zinc, vitamin D and C, while traveling.

Maybe a quart or two of tonic water per day (contains quinine, which helps shuttle zinc into the cells, like its derivative, hydroxychloroquine). Quercitin also has some of that zinc ionophore activity, if there is no bathroom on the bus, and you don’t want to have to urinate much (but there should be a bathroom).

Hand sanitizer and a disinfecting mouthwash occasionally…

The issue of waning effectiveness seems to be much more with Pfizer than Moderna. I saw a report that J&J actually seems to be increasing in effectiveness over time.

Pfizer is only about 1/3rd the dose of Moderna, and has a week less interval between doses. Both of those factors (lower dose and interval) are known to generally produce lower immune response and duration.
