here’s a local article from today that claims, “Across the state, only 16 ICU beds remain available.” (down at the bottom of the article)
I’m not sure but I think Alaska has a total of 137 ICU beds in the entire state. I could be wrong on that?

probably right on the number of ICU beds. some of the towns have unstaffed hospitals and only an EMT to stabilize an emergency long enough to evacuate by air.
Only 123 adult intensive care beds and 103 of them were filled as of September 23.
Yeah they dont tell you that little item... they want the people in CA and NY with their thousands of beds to be frightened ...
They also have a relatively small population ...
