My take - just a crazy “out there” thought - Trump reinstated by 2022, so he serves 3 years of his 2020 election term. He runs again with DeSantis as running mate in 2024, with the caveat that mid-term, DeSantis takes the Presidency and a new VP is elected or appointed or however they do such things.

I don’t think a caveat is needed.

I think that an elderly president does not have to fear people being troubled by him being elderly so long as they have complete faith in and like the V.P.

There is no need for the president to say he will step down.

It will be understood that Trump, or any elderly president, will be succeeded by a very capable V.P. should anything happen.

I don’t think there is any reason why Trump has to promise to not serve more than 10 years total so as to keep in line with the Constitution when it comes to length of terms.

Fraud vitiates any “arrangements” Trump would have to make with the people on length of term.

I just read somewhere that vaccine manufacturers immunity from lawsuits for adverse events expires in 2024.

I think a large part of Trump’s platform will be centered around making sure people can sue manufacturers for the adverse effects of many vaccines.
