Thank you for posting that. I was just studying up on St. Michael tonight. The Feast of the Holy Archangels is coming up on September 29th honoring St. Michael, St. Gabriel and St. Raphael.

Yes, 29 SEP is Michaelmas. (I just learned recently that the English pronounce it “Micklemiss”.) Have never celebrated Michaelmas before, but, this year, I plan to honor St Michael and the other archangels. Also, I will be baking a St Michael’s Bannock.
