Just want to drop an observation post based on NY & specifically LI.
I was vaccinated back in April/May mainly bc I didn’t give it much thought & naively believed it was the right thing to do. Soon after I lost my job bc commercial RE ain’t doing too hot. I’m literally pissed I got the shot as did my 20 something kids & hubby.
I noticed a data point that clicked for me the other day. the continued hospitalization fear porn. My BIL & SIL didn’t get vaxed (40s) & both contracted covid back in July. Nothing serious, just a bad flu like illness. Both went to a
Local hospital to receive the antibody treatment. For those who may not realize it is administered w/an IV & takes about 6 hrs. Both then quickly recovered. I then noticed a little fact amid some CDc data. A hospital stay is defined as “treatment that exceeds 4-6 hrs in scope.”
So my in-laws are counted as covid hospitalization, & also conveniently check off the “unvaccinated” box too. It’s all so infuriating & I could post paragraphed after paragraph of these types of deceptions & literal criminal behaviors by “our betters”.
Browsing job ads & most say “must be ‘fully’ vaxed,” which will mean something different a couple of months from now. I won’t get boosters.

Well...... That will certainly raise hospitalizations falsely for the evening tv report!
