The Asian bomb has exploded, Tesla Giga Shanghai is shipping cars abroad. The Asian bomb has Exploded, Tesla INSANE EXPORTS carrying 4,410 Tesla Model 3 | September 18, 2021 | Tesla Fans
Gigatexas and Gigaberlin will both be producing vehicles within weeks or months, the first will roll out perhaps before the end of 2021. By the end of 2022, worldwide production by Tesla will have at least doubled y-o-y. It's not unlikely that sites will be announced in India and GB during 2022, plus another US or Canadian plant.
And the US taxpayer provides subsidies to Tesla.
“Global average cost optimization” is a fancy term for utilizing cheap labor and a limited regulation location that doesn’t worry about air quality or safety.
The US plant can now “focus on local demand” which means less cars are being produced in the US.
Why all the excitement?
Why the pointless comment?
It means that the Fremont plant was building for non-US market and now it doesn’t have to, which will definitely help them with the strong demand in the North American market.
Musk has an extensive network of worshipping cultists.
Where were the cars being made for the US market?
What it means is that production in the US will decline in the future.
India a low maybe. GB, no. With Brexit, it won't make too much sense, even though the British Business Minister has been making some efforts to get a Tesla giga factory there.
No, we don’t.
[snip] If you’re wondering why no Teslas or the recently announced GMC Hummer EV are included, it’s because GM and Tesla vehicles are no longer eligible for the federal tax credit. When a manufacturer sells its 200,000th qualified vehicle, the tax credit is scheduled to wind down, reducing by half to $3,750 and then half again over a period of time before being reduced to nothing. Tesla sold its 200,00th vehicle in 2018, and the credit fully expired at the end of 2019. Another popular EV, the Chevrolet Bolt EV, also is no longer eligible for any tax credit. [/snip]

and all those wonderful carboncredits he can cash in on...
ya gotta love it
“Tesla’s cars are fast...”
Yeah, for about 3-4, 0-60 runs, and then they have to limp home to get recharged, if they don’t catch fire on the way. BTW, don’t keep an EV in the garage, in case it fires-up and burns your home down.
Fremont.
Gigatexas is nearly ready to go, and the Model Y and Cybertruck will be coming from there.
Try to keep up and make sense.
EV orgasms!
See # 11.
China delenda est.
Not only that, shut off all electricity in your house at night, otherwise the current will leak out of the sockets and burn it down.
What you said there is just BS.

How Many Miles Will a Tesla Last?

Tesla's edge is in quality, and the Chinese EV buyers know it. They just can't necessarily afford a Tesla (yet) but the supposed Tesla-killers have not come through for the CCP. Exporting Teslas from Shanghai into the Far East and Aus/NZ (and even India) means they collect fees and taxes.
