Where were the cars being made for the US market?

What it means is that production in the US will decline in the future.

Actually Tesla is building a new giga factory in Texas as we speak. US production is going up.
Not to mention production in giga Nevada is going full tilt as well.
Most of the exports from the Shanghai factory go to Asia and Europe.
