I never have nor seen anyone stopped at a red light being fearful. People are stopped at a red light because they are being prudent.

When my boy went through his Drivers Education Course, he came home with his new motto regarding Stop Signs. He insisted on full stops ‘For the sake of the Law.’ I loved his understanding.

This is why we stop at red lights as well, for the sake of the Law.

Meanwhile, fast forward 25 years and the Law is a freaking joke. Well, not so much the Law regarding Stop Signs or red lights, but the notion that we are obligated to have our bodies injected with poison is scarcely rational.
