Sept. 21 (UPI) -- Treatment with monoclonal antibodies reduced the need for hospital care in adults at high risk for serious illness from COVID-19, a study published Tuesday by JAMA Network Open found.
Just over 17% of high-risk Native Americans given the treatment based on laboratory-created antibodies, or immune proteins that fight off infections, within days of testing positive for the virus were admitted to the hospital, the data showed.
However, 43% of patients in the study who did not receive monoclonal antibodies required hospital treatment.
In addition, more than 4% of the untreated patients were admitted to a hospital intensive care unit because of COVID-19, and nearly 3% died from the disease.
None of the patients given monoclonal antibodies were admitted to the ICU and none died, they said.
Getting mine tomorrow.
I think you get these after you test positive, but before you’re hospitalized, right?
If you’re like me - you will notice an immediate improvement within hours.
Good luck! And glad to hear you’re getting the MAB.
Are you ill right now? I hope you’re not.

That’s right and make sure you know of a local doctor who can serve as your advocate/hero! Not all states are like Florida where DeSantis has institutionalized this treatment.
I guess that is why the feds are going to start limiting them to the places that need them, gotta keep the vaccine as the only option.
I have covid but ivermectin’s keeping it at bay.
Biden is slowing them down because they work...and gives a treatment excuse for not taking the vaccine.
Look into Budesonide over the counter. It had great effect with Covid out patients in the Oxford study. Kept 90% out of the hospital. Inhaler spray, used for infants.... Check with your doctor.
You not only have to test positive, in order to be eligible for monoclonal treatment, but at least in some places, there are other requirements that must be met. For instance, younger people may not be able to get it even though they test positive.
My wife and I are old enough to be able to be treated.
Do line up a hospital which is willing to administer this treatment. In our area, which is Phoenix, Mayo clinic is a possible candidate.
With in 8 days of infection.....
EVERY SAFE AND EFFECTIVE therapy and remedy to Covid has been shut down by big government, big pharmaceutical and big media.
What’s the brand name, do you know?
Prayers up! Hope you bounce right back.
Exactly.
Is it an IV or a shot?
This looks to me like the Hegelian dialectic in action. Thesis, you will take the gene therapy. Antithesis, no, we won’t take it, make us. Synthesis, well then you will take the monoclonal antibodies. Perhaps they can accomplish the genetic changes they desire through that. I just don’t trust any of them anymore.
My daughters stepson just got covid and he is 15 years old. The next day they took him down to the local clinic for the Monoclonal antibodies. 24 hours later and he is much better. This thing works.
