Actor Scott Bakula says “significant conversations” are happening about the possibility of a reboot of his early ’90s sci-fi series Quantum Leap, though whatever talks are happening seem to be in the very early stages.
On the podcast Bob Saget’s Here For You yesterday, guest Bakula suggested that the 1989-93 NBC fantasy series – in which his character time-hopped through various eras by “leaping” into the bodies of other people – could see a new day yet again, though fans probably shouldn’t expect anything too soon.

Sucked the first time. Typical liberal preaching show. Goes through time becoming someone else so they can preach their wokeness on things from years ago. I’m sure in this version he’ll “jump” into a teen tyranny.
As stupid as CBS’ “COLD CASE”. They would just randomly open a box and miraculously solve the case while preaching liberal talking points.
Doesn’t hold up well. Loved it as a kid. Never understood why they were always tumbling in.
I posted the same thing before reading this far.
Best Quantum Leap was when he Quantum Leaped into a younger version of himself during a Thanksgiving when his older brother was about to be shipped off to Vietnam where Sam knew he would be killed. He convinced his younger sister that he was from the future by singing “Imagine” to her (before it was released by John Lennon) and then learned to quit trying to warn his brother and just enjoy the Thanksgiving family gathering.
I want a reboot of "Surfside Six" .....IN MIAMI BEACH!!!
i remember QL was a fun show, hokey as hell..
A lot of potential with the evil leaper that went nowhere.
QL was an OK show.
Never watched it the first time around. No need to see it this time either. The only series I ever watched him in was NCIS: New Orleans. I watched the first season, and gave the second one a try, but only got through a couple of episodes before I pulled the plug on it. I like Bakula, but didn’t like the series. I used to watch Blue Bloods too, but when they started rehashing news stories in their episodes each week, I pulled the plug on that too. SEAL Team is still my favorite series.
Scott Bakula in Star Trek was wooden. He kept jumping around in the scene so much. Stand still!!
He also has a bad delivery of lines as if he is not sure of then as he speaks.
wonder why there’s no reboot of “streets of san francisco”
The roads would be to slick from the human waste and cannot chase the bad guys on the side as it has become a slip and slide because of all the newsome waste.
Just because no one has asked you to sing, do not take this as an invite to sing louder.
QL wasn’t that good the first time around. Can’t imagine it’d be any better now.
They are already making the Leverage reboot. It has all of the originals except Timothy Bottoms, and added Noah Wylie.
Thanks for the link. I hadn’t realized episodes were airing.
Not sure how I feel about Wyle taking Huttons place. Other than the Librarian movies and TV show he hasn’t amounted to much.
“wonder why there’s no reboot of “streets of sanfrancisco”
Possibly because everyone refuses to work there?
Hard to shoot a show when you’re dodging human feces, BLM, anifay, the homeless and illegal aliens shooting people.
Wylie is not playing Hutton's character - that character apparently was killed off. I like Wylie in "Falling Skies" as well as the Librarian franchise.
He was actually perfect in the Librarian movies, which I enjoyed. I haven’t seen him in much else. I haven’t seen falling skies.
Hopefully he surprises me.
Thanks for the info.
Just watched the 1st two episodes of the Leverage reboot. Pretty good. A couple of new people and it seems Sophie/Gina Bellman is in charge. This could turn out okay. At least they didn’t screw with the basic premise. Yet.
Update....
