One must keep in mind that the majority of those
exterminated died in the last three months of the war.
There is no telling the number had the nazis gotten
their killing machine up and running earlier.
Unlike with western european jews there was no pretense
to the process, the eastern jews were herded like cattle
driven with whips into the “showers”.
May peace be upon all those who died, and upon all Israel.

Yes, old folks remember this. And we also remember those who fled communism as Europeans who died on electric fences, getting shot, or the poor boat people of Vietnam and Cambodia. I remember our church helped people from Vietnam who fled communism in the 70’s. These people were so grateful and have become proud Americans. Their stories, first hand, have stuck in my mind forever. I am so happy they are Americans now. God bless the Vietnamese and God bless America!
