There's toxic relationships that might NOT be toxic with a different partner. It can be a bad mix or one of the people can be worthless or even evil...
He was evil - so in that case it doesn't matter but in many situations lovers can bring out the worst or the best in each other. If either party's bringing out the worst - violence - end it.
No need to figure out 'who's at faul' - - - just end the relationship.
