The family of Brian Laundrie — who vanished as authorities hunted for his girlfriend Gabby Petito — found a note left on his car in Florida, their attorney told The Post Monday.
Police left behind the notice on Laundrie’s Mustang, which his family found Wednesday parked near the Carlton Reserve in Sarasota County, according to attorney Steven Bertolino.
The note had asked for the car to be removed — but the family left the vehicle there until Thursday, hoping he’d return to it, Bertolino said.
Laundrie, 23, took off on a supposed hike of the 25,000-acre nature preserve on Tuesday and wasn’t heard from again. His family reported him missing to cops on Friday.

Brian Laundrie’s parents re-enter their home
Chris and Roberta Laundrie — who were removed earlier from their home in North Port by FBI agents — are now back inside their property.
The couple previously were placed in an unmarked van outside of the home for at least an hour.
Dan Reimer, a professional investigator in South Florida, tells Fox News that the FBI may have put the couple in a van alone together “because there is no expectation of privacy in a law enforcement officer vehicle.

Actually it was THE OTHER WAY AROUND! SHE was the abuser. Maybe he just couldn’t take it anymore. (not an “excuse”, just a reason)

Bad things happen. People (from nowhere) get highlighted and become the focus of the press. I get that. But what interested me about this was the reactions.
The police and FBI didn’t even surveil the guy. This is a dramatic change from years gone by. Why? Are they so afraid of misstepping now that they do NOTHING? I found that frightening. Yeah....we had folks here lawyering up with all of their “reasons” as to why nothing could be done (most of which wouldn’t have flown a few years ago...probable cause would have taken precedence), but again...Are we SO AFRAID to do ANYTHING that we now do NOTHING?
That is what I got out of this tragedy. The legal authorities did nothing and claimed they “couldn’t”. They could have watched him. Even if it didn’t pass muster, they could have arrested him for theft and demanded he show proof he had her permission (because they had that fight on video and her a missing person). All of this was what happened just a few years ago. Not happening today.
Strange times.

This is the first time a missing young woman has such an extensive social media presence, along with her boyfriend "person of interest" via their published travel life together and their extensive internet footprint. We can view a vast array of photos and video of their recent experiences. We can see where they go, what they sound like, what they eat, what they wear.
Second, we had another deep dive into the couple's behavior and mannerisms via another recent 21st century technology--police bodycams--when the couple spent an hour after being pulled over by the cops in Utah. This time, the two weren't quite as rehearsed as their edited social videos. We get to make our own assessments, rather than having some media talking head spoon feed us their interpretation.
Third, Gabby's body was located with the help of online video by another full time blogger who spotted the van deep in Grand Teton National Park.
In summary, this is a telecommunication and social media phenomenon, moving at relative lightning speed. Compare it to watching a captivating who-dunnit mini series with chargacter development. We watched first-hand as the story unfolded, rather than snippets that the media decided was worthy of our attention.

Still, if Gabby Petito was fat, no one would be following the story. Hot girl killed and fiancé acts incredibly suspicious. That makes it a story with legs. Because she had good legs.
Interesting thought. As good a theory as many others. For now, I’m suspecting two immature young adults driving each other mad in extended close proximity. He may be a budding schizophrenic, as evidenced by his bizarre artwork.

its good looking person syndrum...the girl is stuning on camra so it gets inialtial traction and then others cover it becouse its being coverd. If this was some one not pleasent to look at it would never of gained traction.
Cause she is an attractive young white girl.
Were she a fat ugly black girl the story would have garnered maybe 3 minutes of media’s time.
However it is worthy of a John Grisham novel.

Sad thing is, even knowing it at a young age might not have helped you. I caught in to it pretty early, but I still allowed myself to hope against hope and paid for it many times. Thanks be to God he sent me a girl that broke the mold.
