The family of Brian Laundrie — who vanished as authorities hunted for his girlfriend Gabby Petito — found a note left on his car in Florida, their attorney told The Post Monday.
Police left behind the notice on Laundrie’s Mustang, which his family found Wednesday parked near the Carlton Reserve in Sarasota County, according to attorney Steven Bertolino.
The note had asked for the car to be removed — but the family left the vehicle there until Thursday, hoping he’d return to it, Bertolino said.
Laundrie, 23, took off on a supposed hike of the 25,000-acre nature preserve on Tuesday and wasn’t heard from again. His family reported him missing to cops on Friday.

My take as well. This kind of stuff normally does not even show up on my radar. I’m forced to ignore it, but I confess I get kind of irritated when freepers go into “guilty until proven innocent” mode. Then I start responding.
It’s kinda like football. I couldn’t care less about pro football. But I WAS fascinated by inflategate.

The note is probably an attempt to lead police into thinking he went into the 25,000 acre preserve and committed suicide.
The boyfriend is a master of deceit.
More likely he parked the car, left the note, and then got a uber ride.
Any way it plays out, he will be found dead or alive.
Because it's a pretty young blonde and the circumstances are bizarre.
