The family of Brian Laundrie — who vanished as authorities hunted for his girlfriend Gabby Petito — found a note left on his car in Florida, their attorney told The Post Monday.
Police left behind the notice on Laundrie’s Mustang, which his family found Wednesday parked near the Carlton Reserve in Sarasota County, according to attorney Steven Bertolino.
The note had asked for the car to be removed — but the family left the vehicle there until Thursday, hoping he’d return to it, Bertolino said.
Laundrie, 23, took off on a supposed hike of the 25,000-acre nature preserve on Tuesday and wasn’t heard from again. His family reported him missing to cops on Friday.

Raid, as in the raid with the S.W.A.T. team on Roger Stone’s home at 6:00am???
Oh wait, Stone was accused of lying to the FBI, Laundrie raid is just for a murder investigation . . .
You’re missing the most important adjective...”attractive”.
Are you sure the house was not raided?

FBI agents stormed the North Port, Florida home of the family of 'person of interest' Brian Laundrie on Monday and hauled away his parents while declaring the area a crime scene moments after authorities called off a search of a nearby nature reserve, saying they have 'exhausted all avenues.'
Because the assumed perp is a middle-class white male, and the victim is a cute female.
“Raided” was what happened to Roger Stones place. FBI has been there at the home for days, they finally got a search warrant knocked on the door, presented it and began searching.
“Raid” is a sensational word used by the lame stream media to suck fools in.
It worked
You're complaining because this story is drowning out your shitposting fetish. Quelle dommage...
Well Fox News won’t get to milk this for years like they did Natalee Holloway.
Go Gators!
Chandra Levy’s disappearance was covered 24/7 by the media for months, until the morning of September 11, 2001. You didn’t hear another word about her after that first plane hit.
The 24/7 cable news thing is a scourge. It destroys minds. Best to avoid it to keep one’s sanity.
Young black men, killed by other young black men, is not news.
A missing "free spirit" petite white woman with an emotionally abusive boyfriend is like catnip to middle aged women. Middle aged women watch tv and because they are often the person in the household who does most of the shopping, they are themselves like catnip to TV networks looking to sell commercial airspace. Entire TV networks have changed their programming lineups to capitalize on this reality.
Attractive white suburban girl from affluent family goes missing (and later found dead with boyfriend on the loose).
There you have your ingredients for a media sensation. Glad I don't have cable TV anymore. But based on what I see here on FR, it must be wall-to-wall on the news networks.
Sensationalism. FBI and NP PD knows there is nothing to fear from the Laundries.
Typical FBI showmanship
I suspect this guy went off somewhere and took his own life
I don’t watch tv either, but I assume you’re correct.
She’s not Kabul, inflation, mandatory vaccines that are mostly useless, unemployment, blown up civilians and children, 13 US troops, 3.5 trillion dollars, etc.
