If it was him he left the same day Sept 1 or 2 for overseas while his passport was still good and before it was flagged or had phony ID...
If it was the parents who moved the car, he left from the West Coast...
They pretended he had gone for a hike...did they sneak him out then or just take his car to the park for a few days...odd that they brought his car back without looking for him...
If they snuck him out then he was in the truck and he got into the car while it was in the garage with the door closed...

Exactly. Brian was long gone, probably the same day he returned the van to Florida. It was ten days after his supposed return before Gabbys parents realized she was missing, then another three weeks before anyone other than family, has actually seen or talked to him.
I think it is more likely that somebody in the administration realized that the Senate hearing where some of America's most popular female athletes testified about how the FBI enabled a well connected pedophile rapist to rape them and perhaps 100 or more other young women and girls made the FBI look really incompetent.
And then we saw a whole group of feds, probably from the FBI, milling around at Matt Braynard's event. Instead of solving crimes the FBI has been busy going after the political opponents of the leftist elites.
We also just learned more from John Durham about how corrupt Democrats used the FBI to interfere with Trump's campaign and his presidency.
In order to divert the public's attention from all the bad publicity the FBI is going overboard to make it look like they are doing something decent. In reality it is just a big show. At this point, sadly, the case regarding Ms. Petito is probably a straightforward homicide resulting from domestic violence. Raiding her boyfriend's house wasn't necessary, since that investigative work could have been done like it normally is for cases that cross state lines.
It's all just to create a show for the TV cameras, much like the show that the FBI created when they sent in an amphibious and airborne team of 30 agents to arrest Roger Stone, an old man who would have surrendered to them voluntarily at any time they asked.
Nice to see the FBI taking on criminals.. and NOT the political enemies of white liberal ‘elites’....
Interesting series of posts... the body hasn’t even been identified, let alone a cause of death determined. Given the FBI’s history this part of the story could easily be a ruse. The boyfriend is “a person of interest”. Why would he tell his parents if he was guilty of anything? At this point there is no evidence that the parents are “accessories to murder”. We have a lot of people here who have got ahead of themselves on this one...
And some law enforcement people who did the same thing.
The first ever “person of interest” was the Atlanta Olympic bomber suspect (the security guard Richard Jewell) who turned out to be innocent. That was a frame job by 1) FBI Directer Robert Mueller and 2) his assistant Jame Comey. Before that people suspected in a crime were called...suspects. I really miss 1996. Happy 25th birthday “person of interest” phrase.
