I suspect that a small-jurisdiction police chief is probably rather averse to horning-in on an FBI case when he hasn’t been invited; especially when he has his own issues to deal with. (The Freepers may be fixated on this case, but it’s one of thousands that police departments are dealing with all over the country.)

And I’m sure the Chief appreciated a call from someone who doesn’t even live in his state, telling him how to do his job - someone who only knows what he reads on the internet or sees on TV.

(Do you believe that the FBI was not in contact with the NP police early in the game? I don’t think things work that way.)

The FBI was not involved when Gabby was reported missing on the 11th.
Get your facts straight. Only later did the FBI get involved.
BTW, it will cost not 20x but 100x the resources it would have cost
had the Police simply had visible surveillance of the Laundrie home.

Yea I think police chiefs from around the country usually just sit around their desks all day wondering how to do their jobs and how to allocate resources. So those anonymous posters from the internet really help them out. Soon as they get an email they send out a 3 man team to watch the house 24/7 just in case he someday becomes a suspect. LOL.

Have they listed a cause of death for Gabby yet?
